We were blessed to have two filled weekends already in 2010 in February and April. Now it is time to prepare for the September 10-12th weekend. We ask all community to help us recruit. Ask your priest if you can put an announcement in your church bulletin. The weekend will be held at the Forum in Pompano Beach. It is a Christian Conference Center and is a beautiful and spiritual setting; which lends itself to the spirit of our encounter experience.
We need couples and families to help us by making the little personal banners, being prayer couples, bag carriers and Sunday greeters. If you can help us in any way, please call us.
Marriage Encounter would like to offer parish enrichment experiences to any church that is interested. This is a day experience open to all couples from the parish. Ideally, we encourage the parish to recruit at least 20 couples for the experience. Ask your priest if they are interested and set up an appointment for us to talk with them.
There are four pillars in our encounter, Teams; Community; Weekend; Structure. An analogy we use is: there are four legs on a table without one leg the table collapses. Without you, the community encounter will also collapse. You are a most important pillar. We love you and thank God for you all.
